Meiji Era
Year 05 1872 Takichi Aso begins mining the Shakanoo Goyo Tanzan and embarks upon his path in the coal industry

Year 29 1896 Kaho Ginko is established
Year 30 1897 Kyushu Tetsudo Co., Ltd. is established
Year 32 1899 Takichi Aso is elected as a member of the House of Representatives
Year 41 1908 Kaho Dento Co., Ltd. is established (electric transmission begins in 1910)
Year 44 1911 Construction of Iizuka Hospital (Aso Tanko Hospital) is completed (120 hospital beds)
Taisho Era
Year 02 1913 Takichi Aso becomes director of Kyushu Suiryoku Denki Co., Ltd.
Year 03 1914 Construction of Aso Shoten headquarters is completed (Former headquarters)
Year 06 1917 Kyushu Sangyo Co., Ltd. is established, limestone mining and lime production begin
Year 07 1918 Aso Shoten incorporates, Tackichi Aso becomes president
Iizuka Hospital begins medical care within the company
Year 08 1919 Kyushu Sangyo Tetsudo Co., Ltd. is established, purchases Kyushu Sangyo Co., Ltd.
Year 09 1920 Iizuka Hospital (name changed to Shiritsu Iizuka Hospital) starts providing medical care to the general public
Year 11 1922 Takichi Aso becomes president of Kyushu Sangyo Tetsudo Co., Ltd.
Showa Era
Year 03 1928 The Aso family motto is created, "Moderation is a virtue, idleness is a sin"
Year 04 1929 Kyushu Kogyo Co., Ltd. is established
Kyushu Sangyo Co., Ltd. is established (severs from Kyushu Sangyo Tetsudo Co., Ltd.)
Year 05 1930 Showa Dento Co., Ltd. is established (Kaho Dento Co., Ltd. is dissolved)
Year 08 1933 Construction begins on the Kyushu Sangyo Co., Ltd. cement factory (the current Tagawa Plant)
Sangyo Cement Tetsudo Co., Ltd. is established. Takichi Aso becomes president.
(Kyushu Sangyo Tetsudo Co., Ltd. and Kyushu Sangyo Co., Ltd. merge)
Takichi Aso passes away.

Year 30 1955 Construction is completed on the main building of Iizuka Hospital (one basement level, three above ground levels)
Year 32 1957 Iizuka Hospital, in accordance with the law, adds general hospital to its name
Year 35 1960 Aso Concrete Co., Ltd. is established (the predecessor to Fukuoka Concrete Co., Ltd.)
Year 36 1961 Aso Foam Crete Co., Ltd. is established
Year 39 1964 The current Kanda Plant is built and initially fired
Iizuka Hospital is designated as an emergency hospital
Year 41 1966 Aso Cement Co., Ltd. separates and becomes independent of Aso Sangyo Co., Ltd.
Aso Petro Retailing Co., Ltd. is established

Year 43 1968 Aso Yoshio Trading Co., Ltd. is established
Year 45 1970 Chikuho Densan Center is established (company name changed to Aso Information System Co., Ltd. in 1987)
